Our news MEC China hires new head of Strategic Planning

MEC, a leading media agency (www.mecglobal.com), announced today the appointment of Theresa Loo as head of Strategic Planning, Analytics and Insight.  Theresa joins the MEC China management team and will report to Dominic Ng, National Managing Director of MEC.

In this new role, Theresa will have a broad remit to develop MEC’s strategic planning and analytic and insight product across MEC’s three offices in China. Theresa will be based in Shanghai.

With a PhD in marketing, Theresa joins MEC from Research International China where she worked on research projects for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Jahwa, Unilever and Accor.  Previously she was Marketing Director for Bright Dairy in Shanghai. She had also worked in senior roles at Ogilvy and JWT.

With over 15 years of marketing experience both at advertiser, researcher and agency positions, Theresa also lectures in marketing communications – part-time – at some of the top universities in Shanghai and the UK.
