Alastair Aird

Chief Operating Officer - Global

Alastair is responsible for financial and commercial operations across the world. He works with regional and global management to drive communications planning and implementation (CP&I) to clients through acquisition of capabilities.

Alastair qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse and in 1995 moved to the Walt Disney Company to work for the filmed entertainment division. In 1999 he crossed to the agency world, becoming Chief Financial Officer EMEA for Leo Burnett. Two years later, he took responsibility for Leo Burnett UK as Chief Operating Officer for the group. He oversaw the merger of D'Arcy into Leo Burnett and also initiated, developed and evolved diversified capabilities in branded entertainment, sports marketing, consultancy, fashion and design. He joined Mediaedge:cia in 2005.

Alastair is married with four children.
